The Ministry of Education and Technical Education issued new instructions within the framework of preventive and precautionary measures necessary to prevent Coronavirus infection in all educational facilities.
The Ministry of Education highlighted, when alerting the directorates, within the framework of the ministry’s desire for the health of students in the different stages of pre-university education in all schools of the republic and complementing the efforts made by the ministry to combat the spread of the new Corona virus in cooperation with the relevant ministries.
And the new instructions came as follows:
Take the preventive and precautionary measures necessary to prevent Coronavirus infection in all educational facilities.
Implement the instructions issued by the Ministry of Health and Population on the appearance of positive cases of coronavirus.
– Do not allow the return of the injured, whether they are students, teachers or workers, except for accreditation of their recovery, with the need to inform the educational administration of all data related to the injured (students, teachers or workers, to notify the ministry about it.
For a person who has had contact with a person infected with the Coronavirus, whether this contact is a “student, teacher or worker in educational facilities”, a 14-day home isolation is applied to ensure the health of the students and all workers.
- The closure of any school occurs by decision of the Directorate of Education and the Directorate of Health of the Government, and not by decision of the school alone, and in case of infraction, legal measures will be taken in this regard.
