The match was part of the tripartite friendly tournament, which includes Brazil, Egypt’s next and last competitor, in a match organized by the Cairo Stadium.
the match summary
The Egyptian team threatened the visitors’ goal in the first minute after an elaborate cross from the left by Salah Mohsen, around Karim Al-Iraqi, with a header that went past the right post.
After the Korean attempts, the Egyptian defense managed to counter them, the owners of the field responded with a dangerous attack in the 14th minute after a double between Imam Ashour and Salah Mohsen, which ended with a shot from the first who passed the post.
Once again, Imam Ashour tried to reach the South Korean net with a powerful shot in the 28th minute, and the goalkeeper narrowly converted it into a corner that the Egyptian team did not benefit from.
Salah Mohsen blew a private pass in the 39th minute after a pass from behind the defense, as the Egyptian team striker kicked off and fired a ball with his right hand, which was easily blocked by the Korean goalkeeper.
Salah Mohsen passed the ball to Ahmed Yasser Rayan in the 54th minute inside the penalty area, only to find the latter with a powerful right-handed shot that went to the left post in no time.
The South Korean goalkeeper continued to shine in the 56th minute, blocking a shot from inside the area by Karim Al-Iraqi after a superb pass from Nasser Maher behind the defense.
And the last minutes passed without serious chances for the Egyptian team, who preferred possession and control of the ball, while the Korean counterattacks dried up and the match ended goalless.
