Dr. Ibrahim Samaha, professor of veterinary medicine at Alexandria University, said he was on his way to Cairo to receive his daughter, Farah, who had been absent for 3 days, after being informed by the Ministry of the Interior that the they had found in Cairo.
Samaha confirmed, in a press release, that he did not know any details of the circumstances of her disappearance or discovery, saying: “She is still on the road and my heart will not settle until after I see and speak to her.”
On Wednesday, the Interior Ministry announced that they had found Farah ES, a second-year high school student, after she had been absent from her family’s house in Smouha since the day before yesterday.
The Alexandria Veterinarian Syndicate page posted on its Facebook page: “Praise God, Dr. Ibrahim Samaha’s daughter was found by Egyptian police … and she is fine.”
The family of the student “FS” had drawn up a report in the Sidi Gaber Police Department, with the administrative number 10270 of the year 2020, Sidi Gaber, indicating that he was absent from his house after going out to buy some supplies.
The aforementioned girl incident was accompanied by the circulation of false information and rumors on social networking sites, warning of the existence of incidents of abduction of 4 girls in Alexandria.
The Ministry of the Interior denied, in an official statement, yesterday the complaints that circulated on some Internet pages about the multiple cases of disappearance of schoolgirls in Alexandria.
The Ministry confirmed that the incident is summarized in a report from the family of a student at a school who was absent from home, and the aforementioned report is currently under review, referring to a female student Smouha.
