Malian international Aliyu Diang, the Al-Ahly midfield average, said he will spare no effort during the next period to achieve the dream, which is the crowning of the African Champions League title.

Diang said in remarks on Al-Ahly’s official website in the early hours of Saturday morning: “Al-Ahly are one step away from achieving my personal dream of crowning the team in the African Champions League this season.” .

The young financier added: “I will spare no effort during the next period to make this dream come true.”

The Al-Ahly player continued his speech: “Getting up and overcoming Wydad’s obstacle in the semi-final is an important step, but from today we are thinking about the final match and the dream of the coronation.”

He concluded: “I hope we can draw joy on the faces of the great Al-Ahly fans, who support the team at all times, and the least we can offer them is to fight with all our strength to crown the African title.”

Al-Ahly had booked a qualifying ticket for the final round of the African Champions League competition, after beating the Moroccan team Wydad Casablanca, round trip, with a score of (2-0) and (3- 1), respectively.

Al-Ahly will be waiting to see who qualifies to face him in the final round, where Zamalek and Raja will play the semi-finals.

In the first leg, Zamalek edged out Raja in Morocco by winning an unanswered goal that came through Moroccan international Ashraf Bencharki.

The return match between Zamalek and Raja was supposed to take place on Saturday, but the African Football Confederation (CAF) decided to postpone the Arab confrontation until the first of next month due to the appearance of cases of the Corona virus on the Moroccan side.

“K” has decided the date of the final match, to be held on the 6th of next month in Egypt, from a match, not a round trip.
