Liverpool star Sadio Mane confirmed to Liverpool that he had some concerns after Mohamed Salah moved into the Reds’ ranks in the summer of 2017.

Salah moved to Liverpool in the summer of 2017 from Rome, Italy, in a deal that cost the English club’s treasury nearly 50 million euros.

Mane said in comments published by the Liverpool Eco newspaper, which is close to the Liverpool team: “I was concerned about Salah’s addition, but Jurgen Klopp trusted me.”

He added: “Klopp told me that eventually I will play to exhaustion, but I told him I want to play.”

And when Brazilian Philippe Coutinho left the Liverpool ranks in January 2018, he revealed: “Coutinho was close to the game, but he did not immediately tell me about his game.”

Philippe Coutinho left Liverpool after more than one attempt in Barcelona to lead the Brazilian player to officially move out in January 2018 before signing for Bayern Munich earlier this season with the final purchase option.

The duo Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are among the prominent names in the ranks of German coach Juergen Klopp’s battalion, where the Reds managed to return to the podiums in absentia by crowning the Champions League title for the sixth time in the history of the club.

Liverpool also managed to score the European Super Championships during the season at Chelsea’s expense along with the Club World Cup for the first time in club history after an attempt on the version (2005).
