According to Nashville police, before 6 a.m. on Christmas Day, a police station received a shooting call in the area, Sky News reported.
After officers and several police vehicles arrived at the crash site, there was no evidence of gunshots and officers only found a motor home.

Upon the arrival of the brigade of explosives experts, the vehicle exploded, wounding one of the policemen, the authorities indicated that it is still not clear, so far, if there was a person inside the vehicle or not.
Police revealed that immediately after the blast, federal security agencies in Tennessee, which follow Nashville, were informed and an investigation was opened, noting that investigations could continue for several days, to learn all the details.
In the immediate aftermath of the explosion, 3 people were taken to nearby hospitals and closures were widened in the surrounding area and more dogs were brought in to train them to detect explosives.
More security personnel were also called in to comb the site, and residents of the area were asked not to go near the blast site.
