How did Ahmed Helmy admit his love for his wife Mona Zaki?

Artist Ahmed Helmy said that the story of his marriage to actress Mona Zaki was during the period of the film “African”, adding: “Before traveling to South Africa, I told him my love so that we could begin our love story.” .

“I used to admire Mona as an artist, and once I was sitting down for coffee with one of my friends, I said, ‘You’re going to marry Mona Zaki,” he said. At the time, my feelings for her were nothing more than admiration for her as an artist, and I was doing a children’s game show, I called a call from producer Mohamed Fawzi and went to a library and met Mona Zaki there.

He added, “My friendship with my wife was after she lost her mobile phone and went to the place where she lost the phone and found it,” noting that he was postponed to reveal his love for her out of fear of losing their friendship and due to the economic circumstances of this period.

And Helmy continued: «I told him: ‘I will say it with your affection before you travel to photograph the African. And then I talked to her and she thanked me and said, I love you too, and from here we start the story ».
