The “deposed” president of Zamalek addressed the Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi in his capacity as president of the White Castle, despite the decision of the Olympic Committee not to represent the Zamalek Club anywhere for a period of 4 years.

The president of the isolated Zamalek club wrote a letter to the Ministry of Youth and Sports in order to overturn the Egyptian Olympic Committee’s decision to remove him from office and suspend him for a period of 4 years.

“We demand that the minister issue a decision annulling the decisions of the Olympic Committee issued against me, which represent a flagrant attack against article 13 and Law 71 of 2017, as well as a flagrant assault on the judgments of the Supreme Administrative Court, and a defiance of the Sharia authorities, the Egyptian Parliament, “he wrote during his speech to the Sports Ministry.

President Zamalek: “The Olympic decision is an unprecedented precedent in the history of sport.”

In his statement, he said: “The decision of the previous Egyptian Olympic Committee is an unprecedented precedent in the history of sport, not only in Egypt, but in the world, as the head of this committee and its members became a group They imagined that the Egyptian state has no law, no constitution, no judiciary and no authority. They were supposed to be above this authority, as they had previously come forward against Hisham Hatab in his capacity as head of the committee and all its members, reporting to His Excellency the First Attorney General, to the State Security Prosecutor’s Office.

And the dismissed president of Zamalek continued: “The Minister of Sports, since His Excellency is in charge of implementing regulations and laws and monitoring sports organizations, including the Egyptian Olympic Committee, regarding their implementation and respect for laws. and regulations, I ask you to cancel all arbitrary decisions issued by the Egyptian Olympic Committee, and consider them and nothing equally, and in case of Your Excellency’s non-compliance in the performance of his function stipulated in the constitution and the law, this a negative administrative decision is considered for the second time, I and the club have the right to appeal against it to the esteemed and respected administrative judiciary, the rights and freedoms judiciary.

In a new development of the crisis of removing the president of the Zamalek club from his position by the Olympic Committee, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, decided to postpone the decision of the fate of the decision in the implementation of the sanctions approved by the committee.

Subhi held a meeting today, Thursday, with his assistants and representatives of legal affairs in the ministry to discuss the implementation method, given the impossibility of holding elections for the presidential seat now, because Zamalek has already held its ordinary general assembly.

According to the decision, the club is obliged to hold elections to choose an isolated alternative before October 30, which is what the minister discussed with his assistants, before conforming to the decision and refusing to reveal it until now, and impose the status secret, before the anger of the Zamalekian fans by the announcement of sanctions and the team. The club’s first ball is headed for the African Champions League matches.
