Moroccan reports revealed that the African Football Confederation (CAF) decided to postpone the semi-final matches of the African Champions League and the Confederation Championships, without setting new dates for the postponed matches, according to various press reports.
According to the Moroccan daily “Al-Dawla”, the African Union decided to postpone the semifinals of the African Champions League and the African Confederation, provided that Egypt, Morocco and Guinea are informed of the decision, officially, in the next few hours.

The Moroccan newspaper has stated that the CAF plans to hold the postponed competitions before the end of next October, or the beginning of November, provided that it is previously coordinated with the interested parties, in order to set new dates for the competitions of the two championships.
The Confederation of African Soccer (CAF) had explained how clubs would qualify for the African Champions League and Confederation Championships for next season, after several leagues were canceled due to the spread of the new Corona virus. .
The teams of the federations that finished the season will naturally be classified according to the standards recognized by “CAF”. The same happens with the federations that decided to cancel the tournament and announce the ranking of the teams. They will be classified in the same way. As for the local federations that canceled the season entirely, Without determining the club ranking, the teams will be ranked according to the order of the previous season.
As for the Egyptian League, it has given enough opportunity to the Football Federation to choose the most suitable scenario from the aforementioned scenarios, in order to determine the clubs that qualify for the African Champions League and the Confederation for the next season, and notify the African Union.
