The source confirmed that Youssef Obama informed the Zamalek club management that he had a Saudi offer to leave the team during the upcoming winter transfer period.

The source explained that the administration of the Zamalek club informed Obama that the offer would be studied before the final position is decided, either by acceptance or rejection.

The Zamalek club’s first soccer team continues its serious preparations to face the Chadian team, Gazelle, in the first leg of matchday 32 of the African Champions League, scheduled for December 23.

The African Football Confederation (CAF) made some adjustments to the refereeing team for the match, due to the emerging Corona virus, as it was eager to appoint a doctor to accompany the team, the Egyptian Hani Al-Shahidi.

The Congolese crew consists of Jane Ndala, the stadium referee, Dadi Diasewa and Safari Oliver, two assistants, Kibinho Nombe, a fourth official, and the Tanzanian Ahmed Mjwi, the match observer.

The Tunisian Ferjani Sassi, player of the Zamalek Club’s first football team, is considered at the head of the players that the club’s board of directors seeks to renew for them, especially since his contract with Castle Met is an obstacle that ends at the end of the current season, which means that the player has the right to sign for any club during the next winter transfer period.
