Imam Ashour, the star of the Zamalek club
Hosam Ezzo, Vice President of Ghazl El Mahalla Club, confirmed that Imam Ashour, the Zamalek player, evaded paying club fees after communicating with him more than once during the last period and ignoring the response to Ghazl Mahalla’s management.
Ezzo said in exclusive remarks to Al-Watan Sport: “The club obtained a court ruling imprisoning Imam Ashour, the Zamalek player, for a period of 3 years, and the player posted a £ 5,000 bail to appeal the ruling.” .
He added: “Imam Ashour is waiting for him to be imprisoned for a period of 9 years, especially since the club’s legal department obtained a judgment with the first check valued at 500 thousand pounds, and we still have two other checks.”
He continued: “The club management exhausted all their attempts with Imam Ashour, and we contacted his father to end the matter without resorting to the law, but the player ignored the contacts of the club’s directors.”
He concluded: “In the event that Imam Ashour pays the full amount to which the Mahalla spinning club is entitled, the matter will be terminated and the cases will be withdrawn from the courts, and the matter will be terminated by mutual consent between the two parts “.
Earlier, the club vice president Ghazl El Mahalla confirmed that the club had obtained a ruling against Imam Ashour, with 3 years in prison.
“Izzo” to “Al-Watan Sport” revealed the scenes of the crisis of the club Ghazl El Mahalla, with the current player of Zamalek, and the former spinning of El Mahalla, Imam Ashour.
Ezzo said: “We agreed with Zamalek to dispense with the player in exchange for 12 million pounds, so that the Zamalek club will pay 10 million, while the player pays two million pounds.”
He continued: “Zamalek is paying the agreed payments on a regular basis, while Imam Ashour did not pay the payments he signed.”
He explained: ‘Ashour paid only £ 500,000, and he was supposed to win £ 1.5 million in installments in 3 installments, but the player did not pay the first installment, so we filed a case against him and got a judgment from the court because of his evasion. “
