Calderón, the Argentine coach, nominated for the Zamalek
The Zamalek club is preparing to announce the name of the new coach, in the next few hours, who will succeed Frenchman Patrice Carteron, the former coach, who left to train the Saudi cooperation after paying the penalty clause.
A source inside the Zamalek club revealed that the board of directors held a meeting hours ago, and the vote was unanimous to elect Calderón, a former coach of the Saudi national team and the Al-Hilal Club, to lead the team for the next period.
The source added that the surprise was that the club president and his son, the team supervisor, chose the Portuguese Jimmy Pacheco to return again, but the majority went to the Argentine coach, and the name will be officially announced in the next hours.
Zamalek secures second place in the league
Zamalek’s team achieved a beautiful victory over their guest Tanta, 3-1, at the start of round 29 of the Egyptian Premier League.

He continued: I apologize to the Tanta fans for the “irresponsible” move Mahmoud Alaa made, and his celebration in the Sassi way, and he will be held accountable.
Apart from this, the Zamalek club football management reached an official contract with a distinguished foreign striker, to support the team in the upcoming summer transfer period, and more than one striker was nominated to move to the club.
