Tariq Al-Ashry
Tariq Al-Ashry, the Egyptian club’s technical director, attacked the Port Said club’s board of directors, after he was removed from his post last night.
“I feel betrayed by Al-Masry officials,” Al-Ashry told the Jamhour Al-Thani program.
Al-Ashry added: “I did not cut down with the Egyptian club during my time with the team, but now I am the former coach of the team because I left the team.”
Al-Ashry continued: “I could not achieve my ambition with Al-Masry for many reasons, the most important of which is the Corona virus, which affected the players and the technical staff.”
Al-Ashry continued: “Before Al-Ahly’s match, I was surprised by the result of the Corona virus with the team doctor and Abdel-Zahir Al-Sakka, and they told them not to introduce it to me, and I still don’t know the reason why the one that withheld the test results from me. “
Hassan Ammar, a member of the Board of Directors of the Al-Masry Club Al-Port Said, had stated that the club had concluded the agreement with Ali Maher to assume the technical direction of the club, succeeding Tariq Al-Ashry, who was dismissed by the club for poor results.
Ammar said, in exclusive statements to Al-Watan Sport, that the club has concluded its agreement with Ali Maher, in order to achieve positive results during the next rounds of the Egyptian Premier League competition.
He added: “The club thanked Tariq Al-Ashry for the period he spent within the club walls during the last term, wishing him success and his auxiliary apparatus during his future career.”
The Al-Masry Al-Borseidi Club Board of Directors decided the departure of Tariq Al-Ashry from the team’s technical leadership during the next period, due to poor results and the presence of the team in late positions in the Egyptian Premier League table .
