A source within Egypt Clearing Club revealed a proposal to change the club’s name to City Club, during the new 2020-2021 football season, after completing the deal to sell the club to a stadium company, as the new company owner is considering activating that proposal.
The source added to “Al Watan Sport”: “The agreement will be announced next Sunday, after the meeting that the company’s board of directors will hold, and it will be announced that Estadat will acquire 70% of the club’s shares.”
