The Meteorological Authority revealed that the country is expected to witness from tomorrow, Wednesday, November 25, until Friday, November 27, a state of instability in weather conditions, according to the following:
Wednesday November 25
Heavy rains, sometimes thunderstorms, in some areas of the northern coasts (Alexandria – Matrouh Salloum – Rashid – Damietta – Port Said – Al Arish – Rafah).
Moderate to heavy rains, sometimes thunderstorms, in some areas of Lower Egypt (Kafr El Sheikh, Buhaira, Dakahlia – Gharbia – Eastern – Menoufia). Light to moderate rainfall in northern Upper Egypt (Faiyum – Beni Suef – Minya).
This is accompanied by a decrease in temperatures and wind activity on the northern coasts and Lower Egypt, increasing the sensation of cold.
Thursday, November 26
Heavy rains, sometimes thunderstorms, in some areas of the northern coasts (Alexandria – Matrouh – Salloum Rashid – Damietta – Port Said – Al Arish – Rafah).
Moderate to heavy rains, sometimes thunderstorms, in some areas of Lower Egypt (Kafr El Sheikh Al Buhaira – Dakahlia – Al Gharbia – Al Sharqia – Menoufia).
This is accompanied by a decrease in temperatures and wind activity on the northern coasts and Lower Egypt, increasing the sensation of cold.
Friday November 27
Moderate to heavy rains in some areas of the northern coasts (Alexandria – Matrouh – Sallum Rasheed – Baltim – Damietta – Port Said – Al Arish – Rafah).
Moderate rain in some areas of Lower Egypt (Kafr El Sheikh Al Buhaira – Al Daqahlia Al Gharbia – Al Sharqia – Menoufia).
As for Greater Cairo, it is expected that from Wednesday, November 25 to Thursday, November 26, an average rain will be recorded, accompanied by a decrease in temperatures and wind activity, which increases the feeling of cold.
The Meteorological Authority confirmed that it is advisable to take all the necessary preparations and measures to limit the effects of rain, explaining that the forecasts are updated daily.
