Health announces new death toll for crown patients … an increase in injuries and a decrease in the number of deaths

Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 46 of those infected with the Corona virus have been discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, all Egyptians, after receiving the necessary medical attention and recovery according to the World Health Organization guidelines, leading to a total of 1,381 cases to date.

Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson for the ministry, said the number of cases whose laboratory results turned from positive to negative for the Corona virus (Covid-19) increased to 1,780 cases, including 1,381 recoveries.

He added that 269 new, positive laboratory tests of the virus, including 3 foreigners, were registered as part of the ministry’s surveillance and investigation procedures, according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, which point to death. of 12 new cases.

“Mujahid” said that all registered HIV positive cases in isolation and quarantine hospitals are subject to medical care, according to guidelines from the World Health Organization.

“Mujahid” stated that the total number recorded in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Thursday is 5,537 cases, including 1,381 cases that have been cured and released from isolation and quarantine hospitals, and 392 deaths.
