The Faculty of International Transport and Logistics, headed by Dr. Khaled Al-Saqati, organized a seminar on the latest developments of the Corona virus and the preventive measures taken and Egypt’s vision on this vital issue and the consequent measures regarding the vaccine of the virus, under the patronage and in the presence of Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, President of the Academy, and the presence of Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs. As part of the university’s regular program, Dr. Dalia Younes, Vice Dean of Student Affairs, was supervised by the university.

Dr. Muhammad Awad Tajuddin, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs, called on all citizens, especially Academy officials, faculty members and students, to spread the culture of prevention that is More important than anything and everything even from vaccines, which is the use of masks, social distancing, washing and disinfection of hands on a continuous basis, pointing out The Corona pandemic exhausted the entire world at all levels.

Taj El-Din added during his participation in the seminar through the Zoom application, that the state is taking all measures from day one, and has provided places for the treatment of all the injured, confirming that the management of the crisis will be carried out permanently to assess the situation and make decisions and include measures that are of interest to the public and private health of the Egyptian citizen.

He explained that the main and ultimate responsibility for the health of each citizen rests with him, because full compliance with the three most important precautions is what protects one person from infection, and everyone must treat the other as “a carrier of the virus but has no symptoms. “

He pointed out that it was decided to deliver the vaccine for free and that it would be a priority for some groups most vulnerable to becoming infected with the epidemic, noting that there is no vaccine with a 100% result and precautionary measures are much more important than the vaccine , especially since the virus is not expected to end permanently in the next year 2021.

He continued: “There is no general protocol for the treatment of the infection, because each infected person has their own health conditions that may not be suitable for others, so you should consult a doctor before resorting to any treatment for the virus.

He stated that the current stage is the peak of spread of the virus, so all precautionary measures must be followed, and explained that although the virus is more widespread, infected people who need hospitalization are few, which means that the virus it is more widespread but less virulent.

He stressed that the state is not ashamed to announce the numbers of infected people, but the numbers announced are only for those who come to the state after becoming infected, and therefore are neither precise nor realistic, indicating that it is natural and expected that new ones appear. virus strains because that is the nature of viruses, and it is possible that the new strain is the ones that appeared in England and some countries have reached Egypt, as there were transfers of citizens between countries.
