Dr. Muhammad Awad Tajuddin, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs and Prevention, said that the current stage is the culmination of the spread of the new Corona virus in the second wave of the pandemic, and called for the need to fully comply with all precautionary measures.
He added that although the virus is more widespread, few infected people need hospitalization, which means that the virus is more widespread but less dangerous.
This is what he did in his speech during the symposium organized by the Faculty of International Transport and Logistics, on the latest developments of the Coronavirus, the preventive measures taken and the vision of Egypt on this vital issue and the consequent measures.
Tajuddin explained that the Corona pandemic has exhausted the entire world at all levels.
He added: “The state is taking all measures from day one and has made available places for the treatment of all the injured, and the Crisis Management Committee meets permanently to assess the situation, make decisions and list the measures that benefit the interest of the public and private health of the Egyptian citizen “.
The president’s adviser stressed that the first and last responsibility for the health of each citizen rests with him, noting that everyone should treat the other as “a carrier of the virus but who does not present symptoms.”
He pointed out that it was decided to provide the Corona vaccine for free to citizens and that it would be a priority for some groups most vulnerable to contagion with the epidemic, noting that there is no vaccine with a 100% result and therefore the application of precautionary measures it is much more important than vaccination with the vaccine.
He stressed that the virus is not expected to end completely in the next year 2021.
