“Health”: 223 new cases of coronavirus … and 20 deaths

On Friday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 807 people recovering from the coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery, according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, raising the total of those who recover from the virus to 70,419 cases to date.

Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs, official spokesman for the ministry, stated that 223 new cases that tested positive in laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and examination procedures that the ministry carries out according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 20 new cases. .

Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.

“Mujahid” said that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of today Friday is 98,285 cases, including 70,419 cured cases and 5,362 deaths.
