Last Thursday night, the reconciliation session was held in the presence of the elders of the region between Suleiman and his brother Saeed on the one hand, and the defendant Harmoush and his brother (the boy’s father) on the other, and after exchanging apologies, it ended by mutual consent, according to Sayed A.
72 hours passed since the incident without skirmishes between the two parties until the clock struck 6 in the afternoon of last Sunday, when the people of Al-Bustani street were surprised by the defendant “Harmoush”, pulling a knife from between the folds of his clothes and stabbing Suleiman in front of an oven.
Retaliatory stabs directed by the owner of the fifty-nine year-old at the owner of the bicycle shop, who ran into the oven next to him, trying to defend himself with a baking sheet, but the stabbing of the accused struck part of the victim; To fall drenched in his blood, the witness says: “The accused is drinking drugs and hits without conscience … People are afraid to intervene.
At that moment “Saeed”, Suleiman’s younger brother, attended, trying to control and help him, the defendant surprised him with successive stabs that ended his life, then stabbed another son of the first. All three fell to the ground so that bystanders could restrict the movement of the accused and inform the police, and the latter was taken to hospital for treatment, but it was too late as the two bodies were transferred to the morgue.
In front of the victims’ house, the mother of the two victims was in complete collapse, her eldest son was crying for her support in life, she was consumed with grief for the youngest who was preparing for his wedding next month. “.
Investigations by the security services revealed that the defendant had previously been convicted of the crime of homicide of his brother 10 years ago and served his sentence. Return to the practice of bullying and substance abuse.
Neighbors of the victims assured them of their good character and good conduct in the region: “We have never seen a brutal need for them … but they encountered a bully and an addict.”
The Public Ministry ordered the arrest of the accused pending investigations and charged him with two counts of premeditated murder and possession of a knife “knife” in unauthorized cases.
