Abu Saida studied law and, after graduating from Law School, worked as a human rights lawyer and became involved in Egyptian civil society.
He was inducted into many positions, including presiding over the Egyptian Organization for Human Rights, and was appointed to the National Council for Human Rights formed by the Egyptian government. He also worked as a member of the International Federation for Human Rights and was its envoy to the Arab League from 2004 to 2007.
Abu Saida participated in dozens of international human rights conferences and attended sessions of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva regularly as a representative of the Egyptian Organization for Human Rights, which has an advisory member at the United Nations serving him. gives the right to observe the various sessions of the UN.
He supported the Egyptian revolution against the Mubarak regime, participated in the protests that overthrew him on February 11, 2011, firmly opposed the Muslim Brotherhood regime, and participated in the June 30, 2013 revolution that overthrew the government of the Brotherhood.
In 2015, he ran for parliament for the seat in the Maadi and Tora constituencies, but was unsuccessful.
