Mohamed Sultan, head of the Football Association’s medical committee, revealed on Friday the latest details of the health status of Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool national team and player, after being infected with the new Corona virus.
“Sultan” told Masrawy that yesterday a medical examination and a PCR analysis of Mohamed Salah was carried out, and it was confirmed that he had a positive test, and that he had Corona.
Sultan added: “Salah’s condition is very reassuring, he is under constant medical observation and is receiving the proper treatment protocol, and he has not shown any symptoms of the common Corona symptoms, and he needs nothing more than to rest and be alone in an isolation room. “
Sultan refused to reveal the nature of the treatment protocol obtained by Mohamed Salah.
He said that the head of the scientific committee to combat Corona in the Ministry of Health, Dr. Hossam Hosni, is monitoring Salah’s health status and visited him today at the hotel residence.
He noted that a survey was conducted for the entire team mission, and the results were negative for all players and technical and administrative staff.
The Egyptian Football Association announced yesterday that Mohamed Salah was infected with the Corona virus in Egypt, while participating in the matches of the Egyptian team in the qualifying rounds of the African Nations Championship.
Salah underwent the routine smear within members of the Egyptian team preparing to face the Togolese team on Wednesday, November 14, as part of the qualifying rounds for the African Nations Championship, before his infection with Corona appeared.
