Hazem Imam: Renewing a replacement is better than buying an alternative

Hazem Imam, the former Zamalek captain, claimed that the renewal of Ferjani Sassi would be more beneficial than injecting money to buy a replacement player for him, and said that the player must concede something to continue with the team.

Hazem Imam said in his remarks on the satellite channel “Ontime Sports”: “Ferjani Sassi should continue in Zamalek if the club’s management knows that it is expecting adequate financial liquidity during the next period.”

He continued: “Whether or not Sassi continues is a matter in the player’s hands and he always says he wants to continue. Therefore, from my point of view, it is better to satisfy a part of the player’s demands than to go away and buy a replacement from exchange for a nearby money “.

He added: “Zamalek, if Sassi leaves, of course, he will pay a large sum to include a suitable replacement for him, and he will not be sure of the player’s success, so it is better for Sassi to stay.”

He continued: “I know that Ferjani Sassi has great economic offers, but he has to give up some economic demands if he really wants to stay in Zamalek and is comfortable, as playing in Zamalek has a price.”

Ferjani Sassi’s contract with Zamalek expires at the end of the current season and management is looking to renew the contract with him.
