Lawyer Nihad Abu al-Qumsan announced, on Thursday night, the death of Dr. Hafez Abu Saida, lawyer and human rights fighter, president of the Egyptian Organization for Human Rights.

She said on her page on the social networking site, Facebook, on Thursday: “The love of my life and my father and my children are the greatest man I have ever seen in my life, and I lived with him. We belong to God and to Him we will return, we will call upon Him and we will invoke each other. ”

Abu Saada entered the Nile Valley Hospital about two weeks ago, after discovering that he was infected with the Coronavirus, after a meeting in which he participated in the Youth Coordination Committee, and his condition improved, but he passed away tonight, Thursday, since for the past few years he had undergone heart surgery.

The last activity of the deceased was a tweet on his Twitter account, in which he wrote: “There are fatwas with which she feels that they are launching themselves to generate an illusory debate and they have no possibility of investigation while it is not regulated by the Law of the Personal Statute in a way that guarantees the rights of each party ”.
