Books – Muhammad Nassar:
Major General Khaled Abdel Aal, Governor of Cairo, asked the citizens of Cairo not to disembark except out of the utmost need not to be affected by the wave of bad weather to which the capital is exposed.
This came during a tour that the governor of Cairo is currently conducting in various neighborhoods in the capital to supervise operations of sucking rainwater from the streets.
The governor of Cairo inspected several bridges and traffic shafts in the capital to ensure the continuation of water suction operations and the flow of traffic.
The governor of Cairo highlighted the need to focus on rapidly raising the water accumulations of the secondary streets before the main streets to facilitate the movement of citizens and alleviate their suffering when walking through them, while continuing to check the lamp posts in the capital, in order to protect the lives of citizens.
He stressed that all executive organs of the government continue their work without interruptions and take all measures to preserve the comfort and safety of citizens.
He explained that all the heads of neighborhoods and officials of the water and sanitation companies and the hygiene authority are present in the street to follow up on the accumulations of water raised as a result of bad weather in the first place, pointing out the spread of straws in all neighborhoods in the capital to immediately address water accumulations.
The governor of Cairo stressed that all governor’s executives must quickly respond to complaints received from citizens in places where water accumulates and withdraw them immediately.
