The Cabinet announced the postponement of the exams until after the mid-year vacation.

The Cabinet stated, in a press release:

“In the context of facing the repercussions of the spread of the new Corona virus, and in the interests of the health and safety of all those affiliated with the educational process, including students, teachers and professors, the Cabinet approved the proposal presented by the Ministries of Education Higher and Scientific Research, Education and Technical Education, to complete Teach school curricula from next Saturday until the end of the first semester of the 2020/2021 academic year in the distance education system, with basic requirements, minimum standards to complete the curriculum, and postpone all exams that were to be taken this semester until after the end of the Mid-Year Break, applying this to all types and levels of education.
