The training of the soccer team at the Al-Ahly club, on Thursday, featured the participation of Mohamed Mahmoud after the player underwent a qualification program during the last period to recover from his injury to an amputated cruciate ligament.

Sayed Abdel Hafeez, the team’s soccer coach, stated in statements to the club’s official website that the player had organized group training sessions, provided that his participation would be gradual until the announcement of his complete readiness to be at the disposal of the coaching staff.

Abdel Hafeez explained during his remarks that Hussein Al-Shahat, the team player, is ready to be with Renee Fyler after completing his rehabilitation program to recover from the effects of his recent hernia operation.

He added that the player participated in training today, Thursday, naturally in group training and is ready for the next stage.

During his remarks, Abdel Hafeez spoke about the position of Rami Rabia, the team’s defender, after his injury in the Al-Ittihad match in Alexandria, which ended with a negative draw.

Abdel Hafeez said Rabia will undergo a medical examination on Friday to determine his return to group training.

Rabia suffers from muscle fatigue, and today he underwent a physiotherapy and rehabilitation session to prepare him for the next stage.

Rabia also participated in physical training by running around the stadium on the sidelines of the team’s collective training this morning, as part of the program that has been set for him.
