“Our match with Al-Ahly, the second round, will normally be played at the Ghazl El-Mahalla stadium,” club vice president Ghazl El Mahalla told On Time Sports 1.

“We managed to get the safety approvals, we have taken all the necessary measures and the Ghazl El Mahalla stadium is ready,” he added.

He added: “Ghazl al-Mahalla was not ready. There were problems with the guest dressing rooms and lack of some cameras. Time has stolen us and the request for competitions to quickly determine the stadium made us ask to replace the match with Al-Ahly.” .

He continued: “We contacted Al-Ahly and the Competitions Committee for the first round match to take place in Cairo and the second round in Al-Mahalla. Al-Ahly accepted our request and welcomed the matter. “.

He stressed: “In case Al-Ahly refused to comply with our request for substitution of the match, we would have chosen Suez Stadium or any other stadium, but Al-Ahly did not oppose the substitution and gave us the opportunity. to play a match with him at the Ghazl El Mahalla stadium.

“Al-Ahly cooperated with us and understood the matter, God willing, the second round, the match will be played in our stadium, days ago, all the procedures were completed and the requests and requirements were fulfilled. The stadium is now ready.” , he concluded.
