Hawass added: “Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud, in his (Knowledge and Faith) program, has repeated the same misinformation that Sheikh Ali Jumah gave, and some non-academics still repeat these words that are equal to the axes of fame they say that the pyramid was built by people who came from the continent of Atlantis What is missing, and what he says now is a repeat of what Arab travelers said when they arrived in Egypt in the 9th century AD, demanding on Friday that he prove that the Prophet Idris was the first to build the pyramids, and that the statue of the “Sphinx” is an embodiment of it.
Regarding the evidence on which Hawas is based in his speech, he said: “First, we have complete evidence that King Djoser built the first pyramid we have, and that the one who changed the building from clay to stone is Imhotep Genius, and we have the oldest papyrus found so far, which is The Wadi Al-Jarf Papyrus, in which the (approved) job boss talks about building the Khufu pyramid, and said that the area of the pyramid was called (Ankh Khufu), which means (Khufu Yaish), and that Khufu lived in a pyramid palace, and spoke about the termination of the Khufu government, after which he continued to build the pyramids until the beginning of the modern state.
Hawass asked, “Can we forget all this, as well as the graves in Giza, which speak of the priests of Khufu, Khafra and Menkaure, and many other world-related titles and administration in government, and can we forget the royal lists that define the names of kings and not the name of the Prophet Idris, peace be upon him,?! “.
Hawass added: As for the “Sphinx”, according to Sheikh Ali Jumaa, it does not return to what it was before the era of Khufu and Khafra and this is a fatal mistake, because all scientific evidence indicates that the “Sphinx” dates back to the era of King Khafra, and that his sculpture was completed; In order to display it in the form of Horus while worshiping the god Ra, who appears in the temple in front of the “Sphinx”, and who the ancient Egyptians had linked the power of the lion and the king, in the form of a lion appearing by stepping on and trampling on your enemies.
And the archaeologist continued: This art form appeared from the time of King Jed F Ra, the son of King Khufu, in which the king is depicted with a human face and a body of a lion, showing the power of the king, and this Representation of kings in the Fifth and Sixth Dynasties continued until the end of the late era in the Sphinx. What unites the Temple of Luxor with the temples of Karnak, and I don’t know how Sheikh Ali Jumah united the Sphinx and our master Idris ?! What is your evidence of that, Sheikh Ali?

Hawass concluded by saying: I used to wish for Sheik Ali Jumaa, and I love and appreciate him on a personal level, but when he talks about the effects, I honestly say, forcefully and clearly: “Get up and stay away from these unscientific sayings that repeat non-specialists. “
