Gareth Bale turns from an outcast into a hero in a matter of hours (video)

The Welshman, Gareth Bale, had a large public presence upon his arrival in London to sign for Tottenham, after being the “pariah” forward in the ranks of Real Madrid and the player hated by the royal fans in Spain.

Spanish newspaper AS reported that Bale returned to North London as a star on Friday and was warmly received by local media and fans.

The return of Bale was the most important news in all the national sports media, with “BBC” and the wide coverage of Sky Network about the arrival of the attacker in the British capital.

The Welsh star has suffered marginalization in the last two seasons with Real Madrid, and has been the subject of constant criticism from all sides inside and outside the Real Club Español.

And it was agreed between Real Madrid and Tottenham all the conditions for the return of Gareth Bale to the walls of “White Hart Lane” for a season on loan, since Tottenham will pay 40% of Bale’s salary of 650 thousand pounds sterling to the week, with Real Madrid covering the remaining 60%.

The Spanish newspaper “Marca” stated that Bale could not participate with Tottenham for at least 4 weeks.

The newspaper added that the player will be absent from his new team, due to injury, as confirmed by the London club’s medical staff.

He noted that Bale was injured while with the Wales national team this month, so he trained alone in the Real Madrid gym.

Bell will be at the disposal of coach José Mourinho for the next few hours, but will go through a period of rehabilitation to recover from the injury, before participating with Spurs.
