The “Jamaican” destroyer of the Iranian army fired a missile by mistake, resulting in the loss of dozens, amid reports of the deaths and injuries of some 40 Iranian military personnel, including high-ranking officers, during the maneuvers that began the Sunday afternoon, on the shores of Jask overlooking the Persian Gulf.

Estimates close to the Revolutionary Guard stated that the Iranian “Jamaican” destroyer had mistakenly targeted a “fire boat” with a cruise missile.

Meanwhile, Wahid Haji Pour, a correspondent for the Guardias newspaper, reported that 40 members of the Iranian army were killed on board the ship, adding that 18 bodies had been recovered.

Several videos circulated showing the moment when the wounded were taken to the Chabahar City Hospital, according to press sources.

It’s not the first time!

Although the final number of deaths and injuries have not yet been officially announced.

It should be noted that the Jamaican frigates are ships made in Iran in 2010, with a length of 95 meters, with surface and air radars, electronic warfare sensors and a helicopter landing pad.

This missile incident, which was launched on the battleship “by mistake,” is very similar to the shooting incident of the two missiles that hit the Ukrainian plane last January, which killed all of its passengers and crew, which opens the door. to various scenarios and the possibilities between them are a technical flaw or an advance in the Iranian Missile system.
