France Football magazine started the selection of the Dream Team, made up of the 11 best players in the history of football.
The candidate lists (10 players for each position) will be divided into three stages.
The selection begins on Monday from the goalkeeper center, the right back, the defensive center and the left back, and then next Monday the selection of the defensive midfielders and offensive midfielders will begin.
As for the attackers, they will be selected on Monday, October 19.
The jury for the Ballon d’Or presented by France Football will vote, and the 11 lists will be drawn up by France Football’s editorial board, which has traveled through time since the mid-1950s and conducted a selection process through different generations.
After that, the candidates will be put to the vote by the regular voters of the Ballon d’Or, and the number of about 170 specialists from around the world.

The best defense average
Franco Baresi, Fabio Cannavaro, Gaetano Cheria (Italy), Franz Beckenbauer, Matthias Summer (Germany), Bobby Moore (England), Daniel Passarella (Argentina), Ronald Koeman (Holland), Sergio Ramos (Spain) and Marcel Desailly (France) .
It should be noted that the magazine “France Football” announced last July the cancellation of the Ballon d’Or this year, due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.
The magazine said that the reason for the cancellation is the unequal opportunity in the competition for it, due to the exceptional circumstances that the world is going through due to the Corona virus crisis.
