Books – Ahmed Jumaa:
A document prepared by the Office of the World Health Organization in Egypt revealed the distribution of cases of the emerging coronavirus (Covid 19) in the Egyptian provinces until May 1.
According to the World Health Document, Cairo ranked first in the provinces to register Corona virus infections, followed by the Giza Governorate, then Alexandria, Qaliubiya, Menoufiya, Damietta, Luxor, Beni Suef, Gharbia, Aswan, Qena , Dakahlia, Beheira, Port Said, Fayoum, Red Sea, Sharkia, Kafr El-Sheikh, Assiut, Minya, Sohag, South Sinai, Matrouh, New Valley, Ismailia, Suez.
The Matrouh governorate came in the last order of the governorates that registered crown cases, and at that time the organization had not approved the presence of an infected case in the Northern Sinai governorate.
All the governorates of the Republic registered cases of the emerging corona virus, after North Sinai remained uninfected since the beginning of the crisis in mid-February.
The total number recorded in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Sunday, 6,465 cases, including 1,562 cases that were cured and discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, and 429 deaths.
Two officials from the WHO office confirmed the document to Masrawy.
