For the first time, the movie “Virus” achieves zero revenue and raises cinemas

After the diffusion of the news of the film “Verse” achieving zero income, and lifting it from theaters due to low audience participation.

Producer Hisham Abdel Khaleq told “Sadi Al-Balad Channel Site”, Vice President of the Chamber of Motion Picture Industry, that the film earned zero revenue on the day and that total revenue reached 100,000 since its release, a figure that is considered very weak, which caused its withdrawal from theaters.

“Verse” is the first Egyptian film to be shot with the world’s latest 8k camera, as well as using the latest imaging and graphics capabilities, and utilizing foreign Egyptian equipment to implement tricks and graphics.

The film is set in a shocking horror, through the character of “Hamza”, a young actor who studies in his last year at university, whose character enters his life with suspicion and takes a certain situation and is persecuted by him and his friends because of some curse.

The film is directed by Osama Omar and produced by Rise Company and Frames Company, and starring Sherif Al Salamouni, Martina Adel, Tamer Al Qadi, Wafa Sadiq, Maha Abu Auf, Reem Al Baroudi, Nahir Amin, Yasmine Rahmi, Mahmoud Jumaa, Abdel Hamid Mansour, Jumana Fouad, Salma Al Moez Bigad Maghribi, Issam Shaheen, Abeer Saeed.
