The Ministry of the Interior announces, this Thursday, the result of the acceptance of the new batch of the College of Police and Specialized Officers, during a live press conference in a precedent that is the first of its kind in the history of the Ministry of the Interior , based on the presidential guidelines to announce the controls and standards from which the new students were selected, provided that a text message and a phone call are sent to the phone of the accepted student of the Police Academy.

The Interior Ministry requested that the conference be held on Thursday at 12 noon at the headquarters of the Police Academy in the Fifth Settlement, in the presence of Major General Ahmed Ibrahim, Under Secretary of the Interior, Head of the Police Academy, after the approval of Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq, Minister of the Interior, as a result of the students accepted to join the 2020 Police College and specialized officers.

The Home Secretary, Major-General Mahmoud Tawfiq, himself wished to head the commission’s screening committee, and the minister oversaw the committee’s work and the criteria used to select students and the method of applying those criteria to end to achieve the selection of the best personnel to enter the Police College.

President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi made an inspection visit to the Police Academy, to attend the Examination of the Authority of students applying to enter the Police School for the new 2020 academic year, and the president discussed various students who are running on some internal and external issues, and on their future aspirations to join the security apparatus and participate in preserving the country’s security. Especially in light of recent developments in the field of security work related to global and regional events.

An open dialogue was held between President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the new students, where he heard the degree of understanding of the students about the various internal problems in Egypt, especially those related to the state’s efforts to promote the system of basic and higher education, provide health services, eradicate poverty, raise the standard of living of citizens and the relevance of these vital issues. By challenging population growth against the state’s economic growth rates, while studying the experiences of other countries similar to Egypt and the development achievements they have made in recent decades, with the aim of extracting lessons learned.
