A responsible source from the Egyptian Football Association revealed that there is no problem in making an honorary passage to Al-Ahly after being crowned with the Egyptian We League title.
The source added, in statements through “Yallakora”: “There is no problem in the honorific passage, and there is no objection to doing so.”
And he continued -the source, who preferred not to be identified-: “We are only asking that the team go down to the stadium five minutes before the start of the game.
He concluded: “The Football Association is always looking for development, so we have no objection to making an honorary pass.”
Mohamed Abdel Salam, Chairman of the Maqasat Misr Club Board of Directors, revealed in televised remarks that his club will approach the Football Association for an honorary move to Al-Ahly after being crowned in the league. (See details)
Al-Ahly was officially crowned in the Egyptian We League competition six rounds before the end of the competition, after Zamalek lost to the Aswan team with a score (1-0) within the Week 28 tally.
It should be noted that Al-Ahly is at the top of the league with 72 points, 20 points behind Zamalek, so the red team won their 42nd title in their history and the fifth in a row.
