Italian soccer club Juventus announced that the result of the new Corona virus test, which its Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo underwent, on Friday was negative.
Juventus said in a statement: “Ronaldo made a new swab for (Covid-19) and the result was negative.”
He added: “Therefore, the player recovered after 19 days and is no longer subject to quarantine at home.”
Ronaldo, 35, caught the virus while he was with his country during the matches of the European League of Nations, during the international break. And he got the first positive result on October 13, when he returned to Turin, where he isolated himself at home.

The contagion caused Ronald’s absence from the team in four games, the last of which was last Wednesday, against Barcelona (0-2), led by his traditional rival, the Argentine star Lionel Messi, in the second round of the Champions League group stage.
Italian league champions Juventus are fifth in the Calcio standings this season, with nine points, four points behind leaders Milan. On Sunday he will visit Spezia, the newcomer to the ranks of top clubs.
