Al-Ahly devoured their opponent, Wydad, and settled for just three goals in the victory (3-1) in the second leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals, to win the total of the first and second game (5-1).
Al-Ahly saved effort and energy after the third goal of the second half and decided not to increase the effort in the field and took their goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shenawy to half-time and pushed five substitutions, most of them to substitutes and returning from injuries.
Al-Ahly are preparing to compete in the final of the African Champions League for the 13th time in their history, and the third time in the last 4 years, and expect the winner to face Zamalek and Raja Moroccan in the other semi-final .

The match began with early offensive pressure from Wydad, which resulted in a tie for the ball, and a shot from Kasengu went past Chennawi’s left post in the first minute.
Al-Ahly responded with a shot from Amr Al-Soulia after superb teamwork that ended with a pass from Mohamed Hani to the Al-Ahmar midfielder, to shoot a powerful ball far from goal in the second minute.
Marawan Mohsen scored a goal in the fourth minute from complete isolation, but the referee indicated that the player had slipped away to return to video technology and the goal was calculated for the owners of the field to celebrate in the 8th minute.
Wydad threatened Al-Ahly’s goal in the 22nd minute with a powerful shot from outside the box from a fixed shot on the edge of the red box, but the ball crossed El-Shenawi’s beam.

Al-Ahly added the third goal in the 60th minute after a cross from a corner kick, Al-Ahly defender Yasser Ibrahim soared above everyone else, turning him into the net.
Substitute Mahmoud Kahraba came close to scoring the fourth goal moments after his relegation, following a ball behind the defense, which advanced to the penalty area to shoot with his left to pass the left post in the 65th minute.
Al-Ahly came close to scoring in the 78th minute after Majdi Afsha’s pass to Walid Suleiman inside the penalty area, but the latter struck with his left for the ball just off the post.
Wydad reduced the gap in the 82nd minute with a goal from his player Zuhair Al-Matraji with a missile shot from outside the area that passed by the left of substitute goalkeeper Ali Lotfi.
Al-Ahly missed the fourth goal in the 87th minute, through his player Mahmoud Kahraba, who hit his left side with a ball that passed the post.
