Ayman Younis, head of the Executive Committee in Zamalek, denied that Ferjani Sassi, the team’s player, claimed the injury.
Sassi missed Zamalek recently and only appeared in the stands during the win over Enppi in the last round of the Egyptian League.
Yunus said via OnTime Sports 1: “They accused Sassi of getting sick, and this is not true. Ferjani was already injured and the doctor gave him a 10-day break.”
He added: “Sassi is respected and his agent is respected, but he has a lot of financial rights with the club, and he told us he wanted to get them first before talking about renewal.”
“We have enough time and there is no tension. We know that Ferjani is keeping his word.”
“There are many rumors and seditions about Zamalek, and they are not true.”
Younes turned to discuss the position of Mustafa Mohamed, the forward of the team who wants to professionalize in Saint-Etienne, France.
Yunus said: “Mustafa Muhammad wants to turn professional immediately and sees the right time, and the administration, in turn, has its opinion on the amount required.”
He added: “We met twice with Mustafa, and this week there is a third session to determine the final position of the child (knows the head by the legs).”
He completed: “We are trying to make the relationship between us successful and make it professional, from the first day I proposed to modify his contract with a new regulation that he has the right to professionalize based on a written and agreed number”.
