France Football magazine continued to publish its nominations for the exceptional award that this year gives, entitled “The Golden Ball for the Dream Team”, for the ideal formation in football of the last 70 years.
170 journalists from around the world will vote to choose the ideal formation, and the results will be announced next December.
The magazine publishes, on its website, 10 candidates for each center, for the public to choose the best player from their point of view, but the award will go to the end to those with the most votes from journalists.
France Football announced today the nomination of 10 new names to choose the best right wing of the dream team.
The candidates are the English star David Beckham and his compatriots Kevin Keegan and Stanley Matthews, the Northern Irishman George Best, the Cameroonian Samuel Eto’o, the Portuguese Luis Figo, the Brazilian Garrincha and his compatriot Jairzino, the Argentine stars Lionel Messi and the Dutch Arien Robin.
The magazine had previously published candidates for the posts of goalkeeper, right back, center back, left back and midfield. (See details)
According to the 3-4-3 plan, the magazine will publish the nominations for the remaining centers, respectively.
