Imad Muteb, former Al-Ahly star, praised Pitso Mosimane, coach of Red Castle.
Al-Ahly achieved a valuable victory over Wydad with two unanswered goals in the latter’s stronghold, going through the semi-finals of the African Champions League.
“We have to be happy today, and starting tomorrow we start to think about the rematch because we are facing a strong opponent,” Muteb said via Ontime Sports 2.
He added: “I love Musimani very much on a personal level. He is a coach who loves beautiful football and has a different vision, and I wanted to be Al-Ahly’s coach.”
He continued: “Al-Ahly is in constant development with Musimani. We have seen an evolution in possession, offensive build, team play and pressure.”
And the former Al-Ahly striker continued: “Musimani dealt with genius with the Pyramids match despite the shortage of numbers for a long time.”
He noted: “He also had a great experience against Wydad, and retired Diang after receiving a yellow card in the first half. Al-Ahly played a very nice ball today and we saw a lot of tactical phrases.”
And he stressed: “Al-Shenawi’s brilliance in the penalty entry completely changed the course of the game.”
He explained: “Since Musimani took over Al-Ahly’s training, and does not pass the fatwa, and this is an advantage, while Fyler, in his last period after Corona, used to share Afsha as a right wing and put Ajay deep down, “(selling you) was a lot in this part.”
He continued: “Al-Ahly with Fyler was winning in the last quarter of an hour, he was not pressing, we were losing the first 45 minutes of the match, while Al-Ahly is now pressing. I was surprised with Fyler why Al-Ahly did not press. to Al-Ahly, Al-Ahly should put pressure on any competitor. “
He noted: “In South Africa they have a football identity, the clubs and the national team play in a way that depends on building the game from behind.”
He added: “I hope that next season Al-Ahly will make a nice and strong ball with Musaimani.”
He concluded: “I wish Zamalek success tomorrow against hope, and that we see a purely Egyptian final.”
