The tripartite committee in charge of the management of the Egyptian Football Association revealed the results of the meeting with heads and delegates of Premier League clubs on Wednesday.
The committee emphasized the need to continue using VAR assistive technology, with the termination of any procedural, legal or financial matter related to the relationship between the Federation and the company executed through the competent authorities to guarantee the safety of all procedures.
The clubs also agreed to continue working with the technology despite technical problems related to some aspects of helping umpires make their decisions in contested positions, and the clubs were informed of these issues.
With regard to the constitution of the Association of Professional Clubs, Ahmed Mujahid, president of the Committee in charge of the management of the Federation, presented the vision of the federation inviting the clubs to present their candidates and meeting during the first week of January to form the executive office of the association in accordance with the regulations approved by the last general assembly.
The association begins its work by forming a skills committee and the union by opening a bank account for it. He added that if clubs decide to postpone training at a later time, that is a decision that belongs to them and not a withdrawal from the union.
The attendees also agreed with the tripartite commission on the need to adhere to the precautionary measures in these difficult times, although the matter leads to an agreement on the modification of some articles of the competition regulations, such as canceling the handshake after the match and re-establish a new mechanism for post-match press conferences, in order to preserve the safety of all.
Although it was agreed to allow the clubs to establish a waiting list of players composed of three players, to help them in light of the exceptional circumstances the game is going through.
