Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Sports, revealed the establishment of a new stadium in the Port Said governorate, with capacity for 40,000 spectators.
Sobhi told FilGoal.com of a field visit east of the Port Said governorate: “We are reviewing the proposed sites to establish an integrated sports city in the new city of Salam.”
He continued: “We are working to complete the state’s development and development plan, and the sports city will have international specifications to host major tournaments.”
He revealed: “Among the sports buildings, the new Port Said stadium, with capacity for 40,000 spectators.”
Upon returning from the league, Sobhi said: “There is a meeting through the Football Association on Tuesday to get the clubs’ opinions in return.”
“But it is up to the Ministry of Health and to study it, and this is our role with the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.”
