Does Egypt participate in the Copa América? The tournament is scheduled for next June in Argentina.

The South American Federation had previously volunteered to participate in the tournament during the 2011 edition, and Egypt was at the time in ninth place in the world in the FIFA monthly rankings after winning the nations of Africa for the third time in a row in 2010. but Egypt apologized and Mexico and Costa Rica participated in the tournament.
Egypt is preparing to face Kenya twice during the suspension next March, in the third and fourth round matches of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
