Tancredi Palmieri, Italian journalist for beIN Sports, said that Juventus had agreed with Barcelona on the value of the transfer of Luis Suárez to the former.
Palmieri wrote on Twitter that Juventus would pay 3 million euros for the 33-year-old Uruguayan forward.
The contract will include other additions for a total of 13 million euros, which Juventus may pay later, depending on the player’s performance.
Previous reports said Juventus could get the player free of charge if Barcelona allows it, in light of the extension of Suarez’s contract until 2021.
Barcelona are looking to ditch some of their players to sign others to begin a new era with manager Ronald Koeman after he left empty-handed last season.
Reports predicted that Suarez would stay in Barcelona after Lionel Messi gave up the idea of leaving the team, as the former has a strong relationship with the magician from Argentina.
But Suárez seems to be leaving the Catalan castle.
Suárez will leave Barcelona after 6 seasons with the team, which he joined in 2014 for 82 million euros from Liverpool.
Suárez, a former Ajax player, appeared in 283 games for Barcelona, scoring 198 goals and sending 109 assists.
