Within the Algerian team, champion of the African Nations in the last edition, it qualified for the next African Championship in Cameroon, after a draw against Zimbabwe.
The Algerian team tied Zimbabwe with two goals for each team in the fourth round of Group E of the African qualifiers for African nations.
Algeria advanced twice thanks to the brilliant Riad Mehrez, who created the first goal with a clean cross around Andy Delors with a powerful header into the net in the 33rd minute.
Immediately afterwards, Riyad Mahrez scored a goal, neither the most wonderful nor the most beautiful, after receiving the heel, alone and manipulating the defense of the Zimbabwean national team.
