Zamalek coach Patrice Carteron expressed his satisfaction with his team’s performance against Enppi and with the victory.
Zamalek defeated Enppi with an unanswered goal on matchday 23 of the Egyptian League in the match that was played at the Cairo Stadium.
“The team performed well against Enppi, and I am satisfied with the level of the team and with winning the match points,” Carteron said at the post-match press conference.
“We were facing a crisis, which is that the team reacted to what the rivals do in the matches, as happened against the contractors, but against Enppi we were the owners of the initiative in the attack and we imposed our control during the match “he added.
“The match was one-way in favor of Zamalek, and we had more than 26 attacks against Enppi, which is one of the best teams on the defensive side,” he said.
On the absence of Tariq Hamid against Pyramids due to suspension, he replied: “The absence of Tariq against Pyramids will be a weak point for us, but this is normal for the team to lose a player in a game during the season, and I have solutions to make up for his absence. “
Moving on to Hamza Mathlouthi, the expected deal for Zamalek, he said: “Mathlouthi is training alone, away from the players.”
He concluded his comments: “I am very happy that Shikabala has been suspended and returned to the next game.”
Zamalek will play against Pyramids next Thursday on matchday 24 of the league.
