A point separates Pyramids and Zamalek in their fight to reserve the qualifying card for the African Champions League next season from the Egyptian League portal.
Zamalek tied with Wadi Degla today, Thursday, to reach his score of 62, ranking third in the leaderboard, and Pyramids ranks second with 63 points.
Note that the calculated Zamalek points are those that were calculated after the implementation of the Disciplinary Committee’s decision to deduct three points for his withdrawal from the Al-Ahly match in the first round of the competition.
So what are the remaining matches for both teams?
Pyramids will face Al-Ahly next Sunday in round 33 of the competition.
The next day, Zamalek will meet with his rival, the border guards.
As for the matches whose dates have not been announced in the first round of the league, Zamalek will face his rival Ismaili, and Pyramids will face the Arab Contractors.
What happens if we apply the results of the first round to the second round?
Pyramids will score just three points, after defeating Al Mokawloon and losing to Al Ahly.
As for Zamalek, they will score six points after their previous win over the border guards and the Ismaili.
And so the Champions League qualifying card goes to Zamalek.
