Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer echoed the statements of his Tottenham counterpart José Mourinho about the difficulty of the current season in the Premier League.
United narrowly defeated West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League ninth round, which was the team’s first home win against Old Trafford in the league this season.

And the former Red Devils forward added: “We could have done better, but 3 points and a clean sheet is more important.”
“I’m happy with a clean sheet and we could have made the game more comfortable for us,” he continued, “but international breaks never help.”
He explained that by saying: “We have prepared for everyone one day before the game, and we did not know the results of the Corona virus tests, so all our preparations were on the morning of the game, that is not easy.”
“We have to do better than this, we know that if we want to advance in the rankings, we have to play better,” Solshire said.
United’s home win is what happens for the first time this season, after losing to Crystal Palace, Tottenham and Arsenal, and drawing at Chelsea.
But finally United managed to break the dream stage to clinch their first home league win this season thanks to Bruno Fernández.
The Portuguese international scored United’s only goal from the penalty spot in the 54th minute after an exciting minute of play.
The referee initially awarded West Brom a penalty kick in the 53rd minute, before returning to VCR and deciding to cancel his decision.
Immediately thereafter, he awarded a penalty kick to United after the West Brom defender blocked a Juan Mata cross with his hand.
Bruno took over the kick, before West Brom goalkeeper Sam Johnston flew in front of him and tackled the kick, but the referee decided to return it again due to the goalkeeper’s departure.
The second time Bruno successfully converted the penalty kick.
United reached the 13th point in ninth place.
