Former Manchester United star Paul Scholes believes Arsenal midfielder Mohamed El Neni is playing as a new contract for the Gunners.
Al Nene made one of his best games for the Gunners, defeating Manchester United with a goal at Old Trafford. A victory that has not been achieved since 2006.
“When you look at the performance of the Arsenal team in the last two or three years, you could say that the team is disorganized and not strong enough,” Scholes said in remarks published by the Express newspaper.
“I think Mikel Arteta has made the team more solid. Arsenal appeared in a very orderly manner throughout the stadium against Manchester United.”
“He was an excellent Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey and Nene, who looks like a new contract for Arsenal,” added the former United captain.
The Egyptian international has played most of Al Madfaiya’s games this season, mainly after returning from Besiktas, who played in his ranks last season on loan.

Scholes completed, “Al-Nani and Barty played in a very disciplined way against the midfield and United attack, and appeared in offensive positions at times, which is not what we are used to from the Arsenal team.”
El Nene put on a performance that prompted former Arsenal stars Ian Wright and Gilberto Silva to praise him.
Wright wrote Neni’s full name on his personal Twitter account, praising her performance, and Gilberto Silva said the Neni and Thomas Partey couple seemed very strong.
